Website Use

The website provides information about CHESSA’s mission, membership, events, and policy updates. Unauthorized commercial use or redistribution of content is prohibited.

CHESSA may revise and update these Terms of Use from time to time our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we posted them. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of revised Terms of Use means that you accept and agree to the changes.

Membership and Payments

Memberships, payments, and event registrations are managed via GrowthZone and QuickBooks. CHESSA is not liable for errors caused by these third-party platforms.

MemberHub Access

Some content (e.g., MemberHub) is accessible only to members. You are responsible for safeguarding your login information.

CHESSA has the right to disable any username, password, or other identifier, whether chosen by you or provided by us, at any time if, as determined in CHESSA’s sole discretion, you have violated any provision of these Terms of Use.

Intellectual Property

All website content, including CHESSA’s name and logo, is owned by CHESSA or its partners and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

Event Participation

By registering for events, you agree to follow CHESSA’s event policies. CHESSA may share attendee names and organizations with sponsors.

Refund Policy

Event Refunds

  • Are set per event and posted on the registration page.

Membership Dues

Membership dues are non-refundable, except in cases of duplicate payment or billing error. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction.

CHESSA is committed to making its website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.

Our Approach

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and provide:

  • Keyboard and screen reader-friendly navigation
  • Clear structure and color contrast
  • Descriptive alternative text for images

Third-Party Tools

We use tools such as GrowthZone, Whova, and QuickBooks, which are managed by third parties. While we promote accessible tools, we cannot control the accessibility of external services.
